Greek Protein Bars Compared (2026)

Seven Greek protein bars side by side: protein per bar and per 100 g, protein source, sweetener, vegan, gluten and price, with sources checked in October 2026.

Greek Protein Bars Compared (2026)

Greek protein bars differ a lot. Of the seven we compared, protein per bar ranges from 6.6 g to 21 g, four are vegan and gluten free, and the sweetness comes either from dates or from honey. If you are looking for a vegan, gluten free bar with 18 g of plant protein, Feel Good Bars is one of the options that fits.

This article is written by the Feel Good Bars team, so we clearly have an interest. That is why every figure for the other brands has a source at the end, and we checked all of them on 3 October 2026. If something has changed, write to us at info@hngs.gr and we will correct it.

(1) Worked out from the nutrition table per 100 g, because the product page gives no per bar figure.
(2) The nutrition table on the product page says 18 g per 100 g, while the description says 18 g of protein. We used the table. Check the pack for the exact figure.

What to look at when you compare bars

Protein per 100 g, not only per bar

Bars do not weigh the same. A 50 g bar and a 60 g bar are not a fair match if you only look at grams of protein in one bar. The per 100 g column shows how protein dense each bar is. The per bar column shows what you get when you eat it.

Where the protein comes from

Pea protein is plant based and has no gluten. Wheat protein is also plant based, but it contains gluten. Milk protein and collagen come from animals, so the bar is not vegan. If you follow a specific diet, this column matters as much as the number.

What makes it sweet

Most bars in the table get their sweetness from dates or honey. Both contain natural sugars, so it is worth checking the sugars line in the nutrition table too. Honey also means the bar is not vegan.

Gluten

Wheat, spelt, rye and barley contain gluten. Oats may or may not be certified gluten free. If you have coeliac disease, also read the "may contain traces" statement on the pack, because many production sites also process cereals with gluten. The same applies to ours.

Price

A bar costs from €1.60 to €2.90 in the shops we checked. A practical way to compare is the price per gram of protein. For example, at Feel Good the 18 g of protein cost €2.70 in the box, about 15 cents per gram, and about 12 cents per gram with the 48 bar subscription.

Which bar suits whom

  • You want as much protein as possible and do not mind if it is not vegan: Lamoterra 35% has 21 g per bar and Naturals Fit Zen has 17.5 g.
  • You want a vegan, gluten free bar: Feel Good Bars, Oddkin, Brothers and Holigreen. Of these, Feel Good has 18 g of protein per 60 g bar in every flavour.
  • You want a bar with honey and cereals: Ek Topon Serraiki and Lamoterra.

Why we made Feel Good this way

We wanted a bar that is vegan and gluten free without the protein dropping below 18 g. So we used pea protein, royal date paste for sweetness and oat fibre, in a 60 g bar. It is made in Greece in an ISO certified facility. There are six flavours, from Peanut Caramel at 190 kcal to Cinnamon at 228 kcal. All the figures per flavour are on the Feel Good Bars at a glance page.

Which Greek vegan bar has 18 g of protein?
